Victoria Wyndham

Ms Wyndham has always been an artist but began her professional life as an actress on both stage and screen. She has worked both on and off B'Way: "Fiddler on the Roof" original company, "Neferititi"  off B'way,  "Jacques Brel..." off B'way, "Rosa" off B'way etc. .  She began in TV 1968 on CBS's "Guiding Light"  But she is best known for her role in NBC's "Another World". Ms Wyndham played Rachel Cory Hutchins from 1972-1999. In 1975 the character became a sculptor which enabled the actress to incorporate her sculpture into the show. Wyndham did all the art work for her character. She had her first one woman show at the Wyomissing Institution of Fine Art in Reading PA. in 1977.   In  1978 the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. asked for a large bronze torso Wyndham sculpted for their museum of television. NBC donated it to the Smithsonian where it remains in the permanent collection. In the 1980's Ms Wyndham produced and directed live video concerts (LaLaLa Human Steps) and rock videos ( Living Color, Media Cult, The Bane, etc).
